Sylvestrina LED Lamp with Battery
The Sylvestrina LED Lamp with Battery has been created by Jordi Garcés and Enric Sòria for the brand Santa & Cole. Designed to resemble a candle, Sylvestrina offers delicate illumination without the need to worry about wicks and flames. First introduced in 1974 and named after a fisherman who suggested the idea, this classic piece of modern design has been updated by Santa & Cole to feature the latest battery technology.
The main column of the Sylvestrina LED Lamp with Battery is made from transparent pyrex with a white translucent element that contains the bulb. The 11.4cm diameter black base is made from Zamak and has a pleasing glossy finish, and the whole product is 35.5cm high with a shade diameter of 3.8cm.
Capable of casting a gentle light across dining tables and bedroom desks, the Sylvestrina LED Lamp with Battery can be controlled by pressing down the pyrex column. It comes with a 100cm long cable, and the li-ion battery can be charged to provide 7-14 hours of llumination, depending upon which brightness setting is chosen. At 0.7kg, the lamp will be easy to carry, and is completely suitable for outdoor use.
