Stchu-Moon 05 Wall Lamp
The Stchu-Moon 05 Wall Lamp was designed by Enzo Catellani for the brand Catellani & Smith. Famed for its minimalist approach to technical lighting and for its imaginative luxury pieces, many of the company's finest creations have come from the mind of Enzo Catellani - and the Stchu-Moon 05 Wall Lamp is a great example.
As the name suggests, Stchu-Moon is a family of lights which evokes the moon. And it does so sublimely, via artful use of aluminium and steel, creating a lamp which is stunning to look at and highly practical. The Stchu-Moon 05 Wall Lamp has been moulded into an egg shape measuring 30 x 40 x 20 cm. Catellani used coloured aluminium foil to coat the lamp, giving it a rich mottled effect. The irregular surface of the lamp also reflects the beam from its single 12V GY6 LED bulb, enriching the atmosphere of any room with the flick of a switch. The Stchu-Moon 05 Wall Lamp casts light up and around the surface upon which it is fixed, and will combine beautifully with other lamps in the Stchu-Moon collection.
