Costanzina Parete Wall Lamp
The Costanzina Parete Wall Lamp was developed by Paolo Rizzatto for Luceplan. Based in Milan, this company has been a pioneer in the field of lighting design for four decades. Closely associated with the company since its foundation, Paolo Rizzatto has also worked with a wide range of other top design firms, as well as enjoying a globe-trotting career as a speaker and lecturer. His pieces are on display in the Victoria and Albert Museum and other eminent collections.
An example of finding a new beauty in the familiar, the Costanzina Parete Wall Lamp from Luceplan wittily reinvents the traditional table lamp as a light fitting for the wall. Measuring 54cm in height and 26cm in width, it retains the bright, conical lampshade of a typical, standard table lamp but teams that with a slanting, brushed aluminium wall-mounted stand. This is fitted with a power chord which can be plugged into the nearest mains socket, making the lamp easy to install throughout the house. Eye-catching and versatile, the Costanzina Parete Wall Lamp can be positioned above occasional tables and shelves as an alternative to an ordinary table lamp, or placed in groups to create a striking visual motif.
