Baby Cloud Table Lamp
The Baby Cloud Table Lamp has been created by Frank Owen Gehry for the brand Belux. Gehry is a world famous architect, but his product design work is almost as important. The Baby Cloud Lamp is a great example of his ability to defy convention with surprising details and gorgeous aesthetics. br br As the name suggests, the shade of the Baby Cloud Table Lamp resembles a tiny cloud. Gehry has used white polyester fleece for the 17cm diameter and 23cm high shade, folding the material into a complex arrangement of bulges and indentations. Each product is slightly different due to the production process, but all will create a magical source of light for desk work or laptop usage. Owners can even reshape the shade as they desire without compromising the function of the lamp.
The cloud-like frame of the Baby Cloud Table Lamp sits upon a square-shaped walnut base which measures 8cm wide and anchors the design extremely well. A 200cm cable is attached to the lamp, and this also includes the switch. With a weight of just 0.5kg, the lamp will be highly mobile, while it requires a single G9 bulb which is included with the product.
