The Scribble Carpet 200x300cm has been created by Front for the brand Moooi Carpets. It has a pattern of blocks of colour that look like they have been drawn with crayons or felt pens. Actually, the design is an enlargement of hand-drawn sketch lines. The Scribble Carpet 200x300cm 's irregular shape elevates its playful, cheery look.
The image is printed on a type of synthetic fabric known as polyamide. It is one of the types of nylon and it is very long-lasting. Another reason this fabric is used for carpets is how well it takes ink. This carpet is printed digitally using a Chromojet printer that injects ink deep into the fabric with a very high level of precision. Additionally, it can print basic colours and their secondary shades at a very high resolution. At the back, the carpet has a backing made from another type of synthetic textile known as woven PP.
The Scribble Carpet 200x300cm is available in various sizes. The blue, green and blue carpet has a length of 310cm and a width of 200cm. The grey, yellow, red and yellow, blue, grey and beige and the green, blue and magenta carpets have a length of 300cm and a width of 200cm.
