Secto 4230 Wall Lamp
The smooth design of this Secto 4230 Wall Lamp was created by Seppo Koho for Finnish design company Secto Design.
Koho centers his approach around a straightforward construction that plays with the elemental quality of both light and timber to create a contained space within the lampshade as well as a similarly contained campfire effect within a lowly lit room. The company sources its wood from Nordic locations in Scandinavia and each lamp represents a labour of love carried about by a close-knit team of experts.
The Secto 4230 Wall Lamp or sconce is a subtle creation that ignites the light within to create a soft kind of ambiance. The lamp is 30cm wide, 60cm high and 18cm deep. This means that it is large enough to occupy a central role of ornamentation within a room but compact enough to be paired with other lamps to create a wall series that would look great in a hallway or living room. It comes in a variety of different finishes and is constructed from high grade materials to offer longevity and beauty in one.
