MS021 LED Desk Lamp
The MS021 LED Desk Lamp has been created by Mette Schelde for the brand Fritz Hansen. It is part of a series that reimagines the classic desk lamp. The designer added features that give it a modern aesthetic and optimal functionality with full adjustability.
The MS021 LED Desk Lamp has an aluminium shade that is cone-shaped. The lower edge of the shade has a line that slants downwards creating an elegant curve. The shade can be rotated to cast light with precision, both 30° right and 30° left. It is attached to an arm that is also made of aluminium shaped into a rounded narrow rod. This arm is also tiltable 20° up and 20° down allowing even more precise lighting. The arm is attached to a matching stem that is anchored by a raised, round, steel base. This is where you locate the on/off switch to power the lamp. The light intensity can be adjusted using the same switch. The base is also adjustable, it can be swivelled by 180°.
The MS021 LED Desk Lamp has a width of 62.3cm, a height of 47.2cm and a depth of 16.5cm. Its base has a diameter of 16.5cm and its cable has a length of 300cm. The lamp works with a built-in LED light source which should only be changed by a specialist when necessary.
