Fata Wall Lamp
The Fata Wall Lamp has been created by Piero Lissoni for the brand Kartell. These qualities are clear to see with the Fata Wall Lamp – a wall-mounted marvel that plays games with light and conjures up enchanting effects.
The Fata Wall Lamp has a hemispherical shade that sits on a discreet rectangular glossy base. The shade has been made from mass dyed thermoplastic technopolymer, creating a complex pattern of indentations and curves. The bowl of the shade contains the diffuser and has been left open at the top. As a result, when the bulb is engaged, it casts a dazzling array of shadows on the wall, while the shade surface glimmers and ripples. The appearance even changes as viewers move, giving the lamp a unique sense of energy, and turning ordinary walls into a source of wonder.
The Fata Wall Lamp is relatively compact, with a width of 16cm, a height of 12cm and a depth of 17cm. It comes in amber, smoked grey and crystal colours, and a range of models can be arranged in combination to create multi-coloured lighting installations.
