The framework and pole 240cm are made from meranti timber, a dark brown hardwood with qualities similar to those of mahogany. The fabric, 300cm in diameter, is basically Teflon, a synthetic material that is both dirt and water repellent. It features unparalleled weatherproof properties and is naturally rot-resistant. The lifespan of the easy-to-maintain Messina Parasol Ø 300cm can be enhanced by applying Danish wood oil.
